NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) –
Restoration work is underway on the cupola at the Tennessee State Capitol.
The project, which will cost over $2 million, is expected to be completed by April 2018.
A scaffold will be added to the west side of the building next week. Construction is not expected to affect access for staff or visitors.
Crews will be removing, repairing, repainting and reinstalling the cast iron elements on the cupola.
