Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County: Victim’s Resource Center

A design/build project for a government agency, the Victim’s Resource Center project required a team that was sensitive to the specific building needs of the center’s end users. RockCity and McFarlin Huitt Panvini offered an unparalleled level of technical expertise and empathy, which drove the project’s success.

The project included the interior renovation of an occupied space to create a haven for survivors of domestic abuse. Work performed included design, demolition, doors and hardware, audio/visual, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The project also included rough and trim carpentry.

Access to the work site and a tight schedule were significant challenges. However, RockCity overcame these challenges by cultivating a transparent process alongside the owner and architect, working through each nuance of the project and finding a solution that not only proved successful, but added value to the overall budget and schedule.
